The boys of 1D celebrated of their two-year anniversary since the group’s formation in 2010. They celebrated today by doing what they do on any other day: Talking to fans on Twitter.

Each member of the five-piece group thanked the lucky stars and fans for their massive success so far.

"Guys its been 2 years today since we were formed, its been incredible so far, its all down to you guys! Love you all soo much ! Thank you," tweeted member Niall Horan.

Zayn Malik was equally excited, tweeting, “"Wow 2years, what an amazing journey and its all down to you guys. Thank you, sending my love to you all #2yearsof1d."

"Can't believe we have been together two years already. Thank you so much to anyone and everyone who have helped us along the way!” said Louis Tomlinson.

Ladies man Harry Styles joined in with, “Can't believe yesterday was two years since we've been together. Thank you guys for everything you've done for us since then, We love you.”

Liam Payne finished, “Also can't believe our luck at the teen awards again you guys are increadable love you all so sooo much.”

1D was a no show at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, but that didn’t stop them from scoring three surfboards, including nods for breakout group and love song for “What Makes You Beautiful.”

But despite all the achievements so far, nothing confirmed their superstar stardom like the brand new, One Direction-themed Ice Pops…
