Your inner 13-year-old dreams have come true. Outkast is reportedly confirmed to reunite next year at the biggest summer kick-off festival in North America: Coachella. The Atlanta duo of André 3000 and Big Boi haven't been on stage together since 2004 and 2014 will mark the 20-year anniversary of their debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.
The news was confirmed via a press release on Diddy's REVOLT and an instagram photo by Sleepy Brown, who is a close friend and collaborator with the two. Now doesn't this make you regret not pre-ordering those tickets a year in advance?
"In news that proves dreams most certainly do come true and every once in a while prayers (and many, many tweets) are answered, REVOLT can now reveal Outkast will be reuniting in 2014 for performances across the US.
You can re-read that if you like, but we’re going to say it again… Outkast is reuniting." - REVOLT
Here's Big Boi talking about an Outkast reunion to Power 106FM earlier this year (1:50).
