Paula Abdul Backing Out Of Her Comeback?

Paula Abdul announced she was making a musical comeback this year, but now it seems it might not happen after all. She's already canceled two big TV appearances on the Today Show.

Paula was originally scheduled to peform back in April, but canceled due to other commitments. She rescheduled for August, but then canceled again for the same reason! Idol just started their audition phase of the show, so she could be overwhelmed by that, but we highly doubt it.

A source tells the New York Post, "She can't perform live. Her voice on the single is so mixed and electronicised you don't know what she really sounds like any more."

The performances by a lot of artists on the Today Show have been awful this year, like Mariah's and the New Kids. So maybe that scared Paula away!
