Jordin Sparks Has High Hopes for Pia Toscano:

Pia Toscano has been the talk of the town this week following her shocking elimination from American Idol last week.

Fans were outraged that she was voted off the show, when most of them probably didn't bother voting because they figured she's going to win the show anyway.

Former Idol star Jordin Sparks thinks Pia is such an amazing singer, she's going to land on her feet in no time.

"From being on the show, I thought she did amazingly well," Jordin told Hollyscoop EXCLUSIVELY at the Elle Women in Music Event in Hollywood on Monday night.

She added, "Everyone did good that night, but everything is going to be a shock from now on because every body is good and it's definitely one of those things that if you want your favorite to stay around you need to vote for them because it's really super important."

So how about those fans that were outraged over her departure? "I definitely say to everybody who's in up and arms about it, did you vote? Did you vote? Because if you didn't then that's why she's gone," Jordin told Hollyscoop, but added, "but she's amazing. She's going to be fine."

Pia's entire life will change thanks to her time on Idol. And if anyone knows how that feels like, it's Jordin.

"I remember on my season [my life changed] for just a couple of months afterwards and not just you weren't able to do anything. But I feel like she's going to be fine. Her fans that love her and voted for her are going to go out and buy that album no matter when it comes out," Jordin told HS. "So, I think she's going to be totally fine."

Former Idol Judge Kara DioGuardi may not be on the show anymore, but that doesn't mean she doesn't tune in every week.

When asked about rumors that Idol won't allow Pia to release an album, Kara told Hollyscoop, "You know what? I don't know her enough, I haven't seen her enough, but she sounds like a great singer. If she has great songs and good guidance, she could totally have a career."

Pia confessed earlier this week that she hasn't locked down a record company just yet, but considering all the press she's been getting since she got booted off, it's clearly just a matter of time before she lands herself a kick a** deal.
