A new video for Pink’s “Just Give Me a Reason” has arrived.
Fun.’s frontman, Nate Ruess, who is featured on the track, is in attendance in the emotional four-minute feature. The duo blends their soaring vocals face-to-face in front of a stylized and fog-filled backdrop.
A floating mattress, glowing teddy bear eyes, and underwater cinematography… All visuals to convey the song’s message: “We can learn to love again.”
The video also features some steamy pool and bedroom scenes. For this, Pink employs the help of her husband, Carey Hart. The couple have been married over seven years, but—based on these on-screen moments—the flame isn’t even close to burning out.
“Just Give Me a Reason” is the fourth track on Pink’s album The Truth About Love, released in September 2012.
The track was produced by Jeff Bhasker and has charted at the number six spot on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart.
Pink’s relationship with Hart is a common theme in several of the release’s songs. On including her marriage in the lyrics, Pink previously told People:
“He’s like, ‘Look, I know you, we have a good sense of humor, and I know what I signed up for. I only listen to half of what you say anyway!'”
