It’s been announced that both Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber will perform on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012,” but now the line-up has just expanded to include performances by Pitbull and Hot Chelle Rae.

New Years Eve is basically turning into it’s own music awards show. Hot Chelle Rae were the recent winners of the Best New Artists of The Year at the 2011 American Music Awards we all know who Pitbull is, but let me just remind you… he’s responsible for the #1 single “Give Me Everything” and has collaborated with everyone from J.Lo to Chris Brown to Enrique Iglesias, to name a few.

The entire NYE celebration will take place in NY and LA with over 5 ½ hours of performances and reports on New Years Eve festivities from around the world, ending with the tradition of counting down to midnight from Times Square in New York City.

In honor of the Dick Clark program's 40th anniversary, the entire night will take place in four telecasts all on ABC. Beginning at 8:00pm Eastern Time, Jenny McCarthy and Fergie will host the two hour special entitled, “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve: The 40th Anniversary Party.” McCarthy will be stationed and reporting from New York while Fergie will be hosting the festivities from Los Angeles.

At 10pm, Ryan Seacrest will take over for the “Dick Clark’s Primetime New Year’s Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012” followed by “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012, Part 1” at 11:30 and Part 2 at 1:08 am.

When the event first announced Lady Gaga as the first performer to sign on to the line-up Ryan Seacrest said in a statement, “Lady Gaga is one of the most exciting and relevant artists of our time, and we’re thrilled to have her join ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ this year in Times Square.”

Later, Bieber went on the Ryan Seacrest Radio show to tease his involvement with the NYE broadcast. When Seacrest asked Bieber what his plans were for New Years Eve he joked, “I think I’m gonna be with you, right?”
