Two years after it's release and we're still talking about it.
This week, the "Gangnam Style" video broke YouTube's view counter. At the time, the video was sitting with 2.155 BILLION VIEWS, which is more views than YouTube can even freakin' count. YouTube was first launched with only a 32-bit integer, meaning that the maximum possible views a video could get was 2,147,483,647. The creators of YouTube never imagined a video would reach that number at the time of inception.
YouTube is now using a 64-bit integer for its video view counter. The new maximum is 9,233,372,036,854,775,808.
Can "Gangnam Style" reach that?
