Meet the New Pussycat Dolls
February 1, 2012 by: MADISON VANDERBERG

So anyways, after a long hiatus where we wondered what had happened to the Pussycat Dolls, creator Robin Antin has just announced the new line-up of dolls.
The new girls include Chrystina Sayers from the girl-band Girlicious, Lauren Bennett from pop group Paradiso Girls, a dancer named Paula Van Oppen, former Laker Girl Vanessa Curry, and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Erica Jenkins.
I can’t even remember the old PCD’s except for Nicole Scherzinger, also how bad does it suck that Nicole Scherzinger was just axed from The X Factor the same day she finds out that her old girl group has been replaced by a grip of 21-year-olds? Super sucky.
Anyways, the new Pussycat Dolls will make their official debut during the Super Bowl. They won’t be performing live, but they do appear in a Go Daddy commercial that will air during the game.
According to Antin, “it’s breathtakingly beautiful.”
“It’s a fun, real-campy kind of sexy,” says Antin, “It’s a fresh, young energy. I want to appeal to our young fans.”
Like the original PCD’s, the girls that replaced them are just as good at dancing as they are at singing.
“The dancing is spectacular. Everyone is amazing,” says Antin, “It’s the exact right recipe for the new Pussycat Dolls. We just did the Go Daddy commercial, Super Bowl spot – really excited about it. It’s sexy and all that. It’s a quick look for people to see the girls together for the first time.”
