FYI: Flea's Plea, Congressman Aiken?

Flea's Plea: Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist and evergreen wild man Flea offered a heartfelt explanation as to why the band played unplugged at the Super Bowl. Apparently they had no choice. Did Kiedis have a choice with those leg-warmers or was that the NFL as well?

Mile High Flub: The Biebs has continued on his quest to make everybody hate him by hotboxing his private jet (kind of rad), but being so obnoxious about it that the pilots had to wear gas masks. Apparently the stewardess spent the flight hiding in the bathroom after torrents of harassment (super lame). (Via Idolator)

Congressman Aiken: Famous ginger and not-winner of the second season of "American Idol" Clay Aiken has announced a run for congress in his native North Carolina. Though this may come as a surprise, Aiken has been involved with politics since serving on an education commission on autism in 2006. (Via Rolling Stone)

Surfin' Chappelle: Dave Chappelle showed up at the first night of Skrillex's February Takeover of San Francisco and crowd surfed the entire length of the audience. Awesome.  Check out the video below:
