We all know Rick Ross is prone to forays into the dark side. With his new track "The Devil Is a Lie," he's taken Jay Z with him.
The track is masterfully produced; it's loaded with soulful horns over an 808 stomp with swagger for days. Hova's verse is tightly wound and Ross is typical in his perverse glory, spitting bars about slangin' keys of cocaine and his penchant for Wing Stop wings between wails. It's as if Beelzebub himself is trying desperately to wiggle his way out of the fat man's throat. Stereotude does not recommend banging this track on your way to church.
