Rihanna and Bruno Mars Pay Tribute to Bob Marley At The Grammys

Rihanna, Bruno Mars, and rocker legend Sting joined forces for an awesome Bob Marley tribute at the 2013 Grammys.

But when we say “Tribute” we mean, Bruno sang his OWN song, Sting sang his OWN song and then Rihanna walked onstage and they performed only one Bob Marley song, so whatever.

Bruno opened the set with “Locked Out Of Heaven,” and was joined by Sting who sang part of Bruno’s song, which was interesting since Bruno’s vocal styling has always gotten comparisons to Sting and Bruno admitted that he actively tries to write songs in the style of a Sting song.

The two dudes then transitioned into one of Sting’s old The Police songs before they were joined by Rihanna and Ziggy Marley to sing “One Love.”

Pretty sure Rihanna was only invited into the performance because of her status as a professional stoner.

Another surprising twist was that Snoop Dogg err Lion was NOT involved in the set, especially since he has a reggae album to promote.
