Their relationship status might be “just friends” on Facebook (this is just a guess, either has yet to accept my repeated friend requests), but Rihanna is making pretty clear on her new song with former hot-tempered flame she can’t extinguish Chris Brown that they still have a connection and that connection runs deep.
Yesterday, RiRi tweeted an Instagram photo of the track listing for her upcoming album Unapologetic (better known as RiRi Really Don’t Give a F*** at This Point) which unveiled collaborations with Eminem, David Guetta, Future, and Mikky Ekko, but these were all names eclipsed by a dark scribble of ink spelling out “feat. Chris Brown” and while Rihanna may have been high with a ballpoint pen at the time, no, it wasn’t a typo.
Naturally, this has become topic #1 re: the photo, but Rihanna’s beating all the blogs commentating on it by titling their duet “Nobody’s Business.” Adding insult to injury, the song is actually super catchy. And happy. Upbeat. NOT another electro dance single—finally! They even sample a lyric from Michael Jackson. You know this second slice of “Birthday Cake” is bad for your body, but you’re grabbing a fork anyway. It’s basically an exercise in trying not to throw up while also eating something up simultaneously.
Scope the lyrics:
Me and you, get it?
Ain’t nobody’s business
Said it, it ain’t nobody’s business
Your love is perfection, please point me in the right direction
I’mma give you all my affection
Every touch becomes infectious
Let’s make out in this Lexus
There’s no other love just like this
A life with you I want, then can we become lust persona
You’ll always be the one that I wanna come on to
Boy let me love you and show you how’s spice show you off
I wanna be your baby, you’ll always be my baby
Tell me what you want now
