They’re just a month away and the 55th Annual Grammy Awards are already sparking fan interest from every genre.
This morning, the awards show announced its first handful of performers and it reads like a scan of every popular radio station on your dial: The Black Keys, FUN., Mumford & Sons, Rihanna and Taylor Swift.
Appropriately enough they’re also all nominated this year in various categories, so expect to see performances of their most celebrated hits of last year.
Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Mumford & Sons are veterans to the golden Grammy stage, but this will be The Black Keys and FUN.’s first time at “music’s biggest night.”
As exciting as this is, we’re going to stay tuned for more performance announcements (Jack White? Kelly Clarkson? Frank Ocean?) as the date draws near. We’re also on the edge of our seats dreaming up what surprises the Grammys won’t be announcing and surprise us with during the telecast.
The Grammys airs live from LA’s Staples Center on Sunday, February 10th.
