Rita Ora was set to perform "I Will Never Let You Down", a track written and produced by her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris, at the Teen Choice Awards this past Sunday. Two days before the awards show, Calvin made Rita cancel her performance. Why? We're not too sure…
So Rita came onto Ryan Seacrest's morning show yesterday to dish about the cancellation:
This is how Calvin responded:
You'll only know 1 side of the story RE Teen choice awards because I choose not to talk to the papers about every aspect of my personal life— Calvin Harris (@CalvinHarris) August 13, 2014
But just know I had a damn good reason— Calvin Harris (@CalvinHarris) August 13, 2014
And retweeted this tweet from Russell Simmons:
And remember, your hard work is going to put you on, not another person— Russell Simmons (@UncleRUSH) August 10, 2014
WTF is going on? Who's in the wrong here? Was it rude of Calvin to make Rita pull the plug TWO DAYS before the performance? Why didn't Rita just choose another song from the start? Let us know what you think in the comments section.
