This would be a major deal for Williams, who has been out of the mix for three years since his last album flopped. His former bandmates from Take That have been doing quite well, and have the fastest-selling UK tour of all time. Fans have been hoping to see Robbie rejoin them, but he’s been sticking to doing his own thing. We're sure this album will do really well especially if he gets the London residency.
Williams has a new album coming out later this year, and the London residency would be great publicity for the album.
An AEG source told the Evening Standard: “Robbie's eagerly-awaited album will be out soon and he is likely to be touring Europe next year. It will be perfect for him to start with shows at the O2.”
Robbie’s new album, Reality Killed the Video Star, will be released in October. Would you like to see Robbie take over some of Michael’s London dates?
