Michael Buble’s newest album is a collection of Christmas hits title “Christmas” and it’s currently sitting in the top spot having sold 227,000 copies after one week of sales. Last month Justin Bieber’s “Under the Mistletoe” managed to steal the #1 spot but has since dropped to #6.
Two #1 Christmas albums hasn’t happened since 1957 when Elvis Presley’s “Elvis’ Christmas Album” and Bing Crosby’s “Merry Christmas” topped the list.
Even weirder still, Buble has beat out Rihanna’s newest album “Talk That Talk” which sold just 197,000 albums since it’s release last week and came in at #3 spot. Ahead of Rihanna is Nickelback’s newest album “Here and Now” which moved just under 227,000 copies proving that people like Nickelback more than they like Rihanna? Strange. I guess Rihanna’s incessant tweeting didn’t help her cause. However, Rihanna did match her peak position of last years album “Loud” which peaked at #3.

Robin Thicke is a busy signer. His wife, Paula Patton, is a busy actress. They have a 1-and-a-half-year-old son and I hear that babies are kind of a “time suck.” Kidding, I love babies, or whatever.
