Russell Brand Set to Host the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards

For those of you who are not familiar with this British import, he made audiences members laugh as he made his film debut in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.”
No doubt Brand will deliver with his British dry sense of humor and eccentric dance moves. Previous VMA hosts include Jack Black, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Chris Rock.
We’re just hopping Brand sings his single “Inside You” and starts humping audience members. Imagine Brand trying to get "inside" Mariah Carey, now that would be a show stopping moment.
The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on September 7, 2008. Tune in to find out what Brand may have up his sleeve…or his tight leather pants.
