Selena Gomez Looking For Band Mates!

Selena Gomez is moving on from a solo career and creating a band. In fact, she’s currently holding auditions, so if you want to sell out and make a ton of cash, start practicing! Selena is currently in the studio recording vocals. Last week she told MTV, "I'm going to be in a band — no Selena Gomez stuff. I'm not going to be a solo artist. I think that I don't want my name attached to it." She also said this about her decision to form a band:

“We plan on holding auditions in Hollywood, and in the meantime I will be in the studio recording some of the songs. As far as actual band members right now, we do not have any, but it is getting closer and closer and I am really excited to be in the studio.”

Selena said that the album will have a pop/rock feel to it, and she plans to play instruments on some of the album's tracks.

"I basically want to make music that is fun and that parents and kids can jump around to and have a good time to. I will be singing, and I'm learning drums and playing electric guitar."
