Serj Tankian Debut's Solo Album: Elect The Dead

Last night Serj Tankian released his solo album “Elect the Dead”. If you are not familiar with Serj, here’s the scoop! He was the voice of the rock band System of a Down for the last 12 years but now this rocker is on his own and let's just say he is making some headlines.



His music video “Empty Walls” has already raised eyebrows with his always controversial political content. When we asked Serj if his new album will push people to the edge he replied, “I have no conscious efforts to push anyone on the edge or anything like that. I just do what feels naturally to me musically.”

Indeed, his music is what naturally brought his eager fans to the Vista Theater in Los Angeles for a special screening of all the music videos of every song on his album. Serj Tankian was also there to take pictures and sign his CD's. All profits from last nights event will be donated to the Axis Of Justice organization which is led by Serj Tankian and Tom Morello.
