Shakira Dishes on Her New Album She Wolf

Shakira Shakira! Our favorite Columbian songstress is back with a brand new album that’s going to keep us on our feet! Hollyscoop caught up with Shakira at CHOC hospital in Orange where Kiss FM and Ryan Seacrest’s morning show had an on air fundraiser for children with cancer.

Shakira gave us the scoop on what we can expect from her new studio album She Wolf, which comes out in stores October 13th. Shakira told Hollyscoop, “It’s a very electronic album, very dance oriented, and it’s fun. I just want people to have fun. If I can contribute to that in any sort of way, I will feel fortunate as an artist.”

So, we had to ask, what is a She Wolf? According to Shakira, She Wolf is “the woman of our time. It’s not only me, it’s you, it’s every woman out there wanting to defend our liberties. I think that freedom is the safest road to happiness.”

She continued, “I feel more like a She Wolf than ever before.”
