It's safe to say Sinead O'Connor has had a very rough year.

She has had another breakdown and she's revealed that she is canceling her 2012 tour because she is unwell. She made the announcement on her website yesterday.

Sinead said: "I had a serious breakdown between December and March and I had been advised by my doctor not to go on tour if I didn't want to 'fail' or let anyone down-as the tour was already booked to coincide with the album release."

O'Connor was admitted to the hospital last January for depression, after splitting from her husband. She’s been on a downward spiral ever since often Tweeting nonsense.

A tour should definitely not be a priority and getting better should be number one on her list. Get well soon!
