Youngest Hanson Brother Teams Up with Smashing Pumpkins

The music of Hanson couldn’t be farther from the genre of music The Smashing Pumpkins puts out. But somehow, some way, the youngest Hanson, Taylor, has teamed up with Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha.

Also on board is Cheap Trick’s Bun E. Carlos, and Fountains of Wayne bassist Adam Schlesinger.

Put the four of them together and you have quite the eclectic group. And they’ve formed a new band together!

The four have already recorded an album, and will be making their debut as a band at next month’s South By Southwest in Austin Texas! The name of their new random group is called Tinted Windows, and they plan on releasing their first album this Spring.

This is such a random group! We have no idea what the sound will be like, but we won't knock it till we've heard it.
