Drake worked with Stevie Wonder on his second album ‘Take Care’ and he confessed it was an absolute honor. Well, duh!
He told Canadian TV Channel MuchMusic: "Stevie Wonder is a very close friend of mine. I'm honored to call him a friend, someone who embraced me very early in this music business. This is an exclusive right here: Stevie Wonder is actually on `Take Care'."
They worked on six tracks together on the album, which is pretty impressive.
Stevie and Michael were great friends. Michael appeared on Wonder’s 1987 album Characters, and Wonder dueted with Jackson for his Bad album.
Wonder told the crowd: “This is a moment that I wished I didn’t live to see come. But as much as I can say that and mean it, I do know that God is good. And I do know that as much as we may feel, and we do, that we need Michael here with us, God must have needed him far more. Michael I love you and I’ve told you that many times so I’m at peace with that.”
