"Britain's Got Talent" Susan Boyle Making Noise

In 2007 Paul Potts stole our hearts when he sang “Nessun Dorma” on Britain’s Got Talent--fast forward to 2009 where a middle aged, frumpy British lady named Susan Boyle sang "I Dreamed a Dream," which may be the perfect title for this Cinderella’s new journey.

The song was the perfect choice for Ms. Boyle, who marched out on stage only to be greeted by laughter when she confessed she dreamt of being a professional singer.

Who is laughing now? Ms. Bole’s performance from the musical “Les Misérables” brought a standing ovation and tears to those who would have a hard time shedding any. Her YouTube video alone has been viewed over 7 million times in just three days. Talk about a viral revolution!

The grandeur of her voice and words made viewers wonder how cynical we all can be sometimes. As natural born critics, we live in a world where image is everything and we almost always judge a book by its cover.
