Video: Susan Boyle's Oprah Performance

Susan Boyle appeared on Oprah last night and blew us away! Boyle took over Oprah's stage with a 60-person choir to perform the Crowded House hit "Don't Dream It's Over," which appears on her upcoming album "The Gift," for Winfrey's "The Next Big Thing" episode.

All of the guests, including Boyle, 10-year-old "America's Got Talent" sensation Jackie Evancho, and "You Light Up My Life" singer Debby Boone, were named as the "next big thing" when they first took the spotlight.

Susan also talked to Oprah about how she was bullied as a child, explaining that it wasn’t “just name-calling. You know, burning my clothes with a cigarette, stuff like that, and [trying] to trip me up.”

Boyle added, “Which was really, I don’t know, it wasn’t really human. I was being hit around the head, stuff like that. . . . That is physical. The more hurtful is the psychological – the psychological is name-calling, really repeated name calling.”
