Remember a few weeks ago when Taylor Swift posted all those cryptic messages on Instagram? The ones leading up to her announcement that she would be hosting a live stream on Yahoo?

The day has finally come for T. Swift's live stream. Fans have speculated that she would be performing a new single and/or announcing a new album.

Well, she's done both.

She debuted her brand new single "Shake It Off," co-written and produced by Max Martin and Shellback, the team behind "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." According to Taylor, their goal for the song was to create something that sounded completely different from anything she's done in the past.

Peep the music video below:

Cringing. The team behind "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" getting back together for another song? Ugh. We may hate the track, but Swifties are LOVING "Shake It Off." It's already #1 on the Billboard Trending 140.

Taylor also has a new album on the way called 1989, which she refers to as her "first documented official pop album." This is the cover:

Big Machine Records

She made sure to say about five times that this photo is a Polaroid. No, really? She's trying a bit too hard to be artsy… and it's NOT working.

1989 will be released October 27. It is available to pre-order on iTunes.
