Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber Score at 2011 CMT Awards

The CMT Country Music Awards were last night and surprisingly, Taylor Swift didn’t win everything.

Like every awards show nowadays, the show opened with a sketch spoofing a famous film. Taylor Swift and country icon Shania Twain star as two music outlaws in the opening sketch that lampooned the film, “Thelma and Louise." It was cute, or whatever.

Taylor did take home an award for Video of the Year for her video “Mean.” She then pretended to be surprised about it, “Omigod, I’m just a little country mouse like you, I can’t believe it blah blah blah this one’s for the fans blah blah blah.”

And of course, no awards show is complete without an appearance from the Biebs. Somehow, Justin Bieber has a country music video? Not quite. Justin won the award for Collaboration of the Year with Rascal Flatts for his song “That Should Be Me.”

I find it hard to believe that the grown married men of Rascal Flats would have anything in common lyrically with the 17 year old pretty boy, especially with lyrics like, “You didn’t think I’d see you out at the movies.” No Justin, they weren’t trolling for high school girls at the mall because they are not fetuses like you!

Group video of the Year went to Lady Antebellum for their song “Hello World.” Lady Antebellum made mainstream fame last year for their song about drunk dialing.

Keep reading for the rest of last night’s winners.
