Taylor Swift Admits to Hooking up With John Mayer

The internet is buzzing today with news that there may have been some truth to those bizarre Taylor Swift- John Mayer rumors!

The lyrics to a new song entitled “Dear John” have been made available and it goes something like this:

Taylor Swift: Nothing is Predictable in Love

"Dear John

"I see it all now that you're gone Don't you think I was too young To be messed with The girl in the dress Cried the whole way home I should've known.

"It was wrong Don't you think nineteen's too young To be played By your dark, twisted games When I loved you so.

"My mother accused me of losing my mind But I swore I was fine You'll add my name to your long list of traitors Who don't understand And I'll look back in regret I ignored what they said 'Run as fast as you can.”

The rumors Swift and Mayer were secretly dating popped up last year when they were collaborating on the duet “Half of My Heart.” But we never thought there was any truth to them—she so….wholesome!

Taylor Swift: I've Been Careful and Careless in Love

But in a recent interview with Yahoo Music, Swift said her lyrics "are all made very clear. Every single song is like a roadmap to what that relationship stood for, with little markers that maybe everyone won't know, but there are things that were little nuances of the relationship, little hints. And every single song is like that.

Everyone will know, so I don't really have to send out emails on this one."

Two songs addresses one of Swift’s other past relationships this year with Taylor Lautner. But those songs, “The Story of Us” and “Back to December” are more like apology songs for it not working out.

“I think that you should be able to say that you’re sorry to someone, and sometimes the best way I know how to say anything is in a song,” Swift added.

We think this is great! Someone had to call John Mayer out once and for all! None of his other girlfriends have done it, so we’re proud of Taylor!
