Taylor Swift and Others Announced to Perform at ACM Awards

The Academy of Country Music Awards is right around the corner, and the first batch of performers has been announced. It probably doesn’t come as a surprise that Taylor Swift is on that short list! She joins Toby Keith, Melissa Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Heidi Newfield, Miranda Lambert, and Sugarland, who were all confirmed to take the stage at the MGM Grand on April 5th.

This is expected to be a big show, since ACM vet Reba McEntire will be hosting, making it her 11th time, which is an event record. And each of the mentioned performers for the evening are all up for some sort of award that evening as well. So the nerves will be running rampant that night!

Toby Keith is nominated this year for top male vocalist; Miranda Lambert is up for top female vocalist and single record of the year; Rascall Flatts is up for top vocal group; Heidi Newfield is competing in five different categories, including artist of the year; Sugarland is nominated for top vocal duo and vocal event of the year; and our favorite Taylor Swift is nominated in three categories including top female vocalist.
