Taylor Swift had to cancel her upcoming July 8, 9 & 10th tour dates due to illness. The country star has bronchitis and is reportedly not well enough to perform proving she is in fact a human and not a blow up doll.
Taylor “I-love-my-fans” Swift released the statement, “It breaks my heart to miss out on this weekend’s shows with my friends in Charlotte and Atlanta. I would never cancel if I thought I was physically able to perform these shows. I am so sorry to the fans, but I look forward to seeing you when we come back through your towns, which we will do.”
I’m surprised she has bronchitis; her live performances usually consist of her whispering something that slightly resembles her recorded singing voice.
She already cancelled a show this past weekend, making it the first time Taylor has had to cancel shows, she’s probably so upset she’ll have to write a song about it. I imagine it will go something like this, “One time I cancelled my shows and I was so upset that I got out my guitar and then the country boy that I had a crush on said he wasn’t going to marry me so I got out my guitar…”
Taylor is on tour for her Speak Now album and is supposed to do 98 shows in 17 countries this year. I get a headache just thinking about a schedule like that.
She will resume her tour on July 14th, but her Charlotte and Atlanta shows will have to be rescheduled for October and November
