Taylor Swift on Top of CMAs and the Charts

Taylor Swift is only 19 years old, but she can run with the big boys. The CMA Award nominees were announced this morning on Good Morning America, and Taylor is one of the frontrunners yet again.

She nabbed four nominations for the 43rd annual award show, tying both Keith Urban and George Strait. Brad Paisley is the frontrunner with six nods.

Taylor’s four nominations include Entertainer of the Year, which is a first for her, Female Vocalist, Album of the Year, and Music Video of the Year.

Not bad for 19! This girl is a major player in country music! And in related news, Reuters announced today that Taylor has surpassed the 10 million milestone for record sales. This number represents actual full albums sold - in addition, Taylor has sold over 20 million paid song downloads, more than any artist in country music history.
