At this point U2 is just showing off. Sure, they’re great musicians, but they’re so great, they don’t give anyone else a chance to shine!

The UK band was just named the World’s, I repeat World’s highest paid musicians grossing over $195 million in the last 12 months.

Thanks to their uber successful ‘360 degree’ world tour, they’ve surprised The Rolling Stones ‘A Bigger Band’ tour revenue, breaking its $558 million dollar world record. U2’s tour will gross over $700 million!

In second place on the list is Bon Jovi, who grossed $125 million during their ‘The Circle Tour’ in the last year. Elton John came in at a close third with $100 million.

Lady Gaga actually made over $170 million, which would technically put her in second place, but she says she hasn’t seen most of the money yet.

She said: "I put everything in the show, and I actually went bankrupt after the first extension of the Monster Ball. And it was funny because I didn't know! And I remember I called everybody and said, "Why is everyone saying I have no money? This is ridiculous, I have five No. 1 singles" - and they said, 'Well, you're $3m in debt'."
