Usher & Rihanna to Perform at Grammy Nomination Concert

No, this is not an unlikely collaboration or one of those pop/country duet things. Rihanna, Usher, and The Band Perry have been added to the lineup of performers at the “Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!” Yes, that’s right, there’s a Grammys show to anticipate the actual Grammys show.

On November 30th live from the Nokia Theater at L.A. LIVE, the nominees for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards will be announced in a special concert show that includes performances by Lady Gaga, Lupe Fiasco, Ludacris, Jason Aldean, Sugarland and now Rihanna, Usher and The Band Perry have been added to the line-up.

This sounds better than the actual Grammys. I can’t even imagine how the Grammys in February will be able to top a line-up like that.

The telecast will appear live that same day on CBS beginning at 10PM EST and there are still some more performers yet to be announced.

Another exciting thing happening at the Grammy Nominations Concert is the special announcement regarding a historic band reunion. At the Grammy Nomination show, they will announce who this famous band is that is reuniting, and the iconic band itself will perform at the Grammys in February 2012. Who do you think it will be?

The show is open to the public, so if you’re able to get tickets to this highly anticipated show all guests will be treated to an exclusive concert by The Band Perry that wont be part of the live telecast.

LL Cool J is hosting the event and marks the fourth time that nominations for the annual Grammy Awards will be announced live on primetime television.

Rihanna and Usher are Grammy veterans at this point. Rihanna has four Grammy awards and Usher has seven. Since The Band Perry was the big winner at the CMA awards last weekend, they are the new “IT” country band, and will surely take home a Grammy themselves in February.

But don’t forget, the Grammys themselves will take place on November 12, 2012, also on CBS. Last years Grammys surprised audiences with wins from indie rock group Arcade Fire and country group Lady Antebellum, so who knows who will walk away with an award at this years show.
