The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a national staple and some popular music acts are having a slice of this pumpkin pie.

The stuffed-more-than-a-Thanksgiving-turkey line up includes Canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen, Cody Simpson, The Wanted, Flo Rida, Neon Trees, Karmin, Colbie Caillat and other totally inoffensive and appropriately puritan musical acts, MTV News announces.

Personally, I would’ve wanted to see more thrilling names like Nicki Minaj and Christina Aguilera on the table, though I guess they walk around looking like Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade floats every day of the year already, so there’d be no point.

Also touching down on the moving Big Apple stage include the likes of “iCarly” star Jennette McCurdy and YouTube stars Megan & Liz—names I don’t recognize whatsoever, an admission that’ll probably make me look totally square in front of my 10 year old cousins.

Colbie is already voicing her happiness, bubbling with excitement:

"I've been watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade since I was a little girl, and never thought that I would be there on such a fun day, on a float with all those fantastic balloons and New Yorkers lining the street. I am so excited to perform and give my support for the great city as it recovers from Hurricane Sandy."

The 86th annual institution of a holiday parade airs on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 22 at 9 a.m.
