Cardiomyopathy, a viral heart infection, has plagued the infamous entertainer, Wayne Newton.
As a result of his condition, Newton has had to cancel a two-month long engagement at Harrah’s Las Vegas, and will not perform at the Dancing with the Stars finale.
“This is just another little bump in the road,” Newton said. “The doctors are a little more concerned than I am. Part of their concern is that I feel so good—I’m not taking this lightly.”
“Mr. Las Vegas” has had the condition since 2001, but has successfully battled it.
Doctors told Newton that he would be back on track in two months. So we here at Hollyscoop will be praying for you “Mr. Las Vegas.”
