Wiz Khalifa might have just graduated from the same school of driving as Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes. That or the Hollywood DMV needs to double-check its driver’s manuals again. Have a feeling it has a few major typos.
The “Work Hard, Play Hard” rapper is currently under investigation from the Los Angeles Police Department for a hit-and-run incident last Wednesday, TMZ is reporting.
The accident happened around midnight, when the woman who filed the complaint was working on a music video with Khalifa and he apparently hit-and-left in a…whiz.
The cops are still attempting to reach the 25-year-old, whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz. They’re probably just wanting to clear up the, er, smoke on this issue given his adoration and reputation for smoking marijuana. It’s not really a secret if you listen to this green and younger shadow of Snoop Dogg’s music. Evidence A: Wiz’s debut album is titled Rolling Papers.
This past May, he had a recent run in with the law in North Carolina. Following a Winston-Salem concert stop, officers stopped his tour bus and confiscated 11.39 grams of marijuana upon a search. Just ten days before that, he was caught by police for carrying 3.7 grams on his person.
Hopefully he can get this squared away soon. If this claim did occur, hopefully he’ll learn how to hit the brakes on these offenses as to not slow down his future career moves. Wiz is about to release his sophomore album O.N.I.F.C., before embarking on a 36-city North America tour. He’s also a soon-to-be-daddy, currently expecting his first child with model Amber Rose.
